Namahao Ke Ka'i

Namahao Ke Ka'i is the goddess of the ocean who lovingly embraces the Hawaiian Islands. She has had a long-standing rivalry with her sister Pele. She demands respect and can easily swallow up a careless person. Very little is known about Namahao Ke Ka'i because the Hawaiian tradition is an oral tradtion. But anyone who has stood by the waves has felt her presence. There are millions of words written about the mystery, magic, and illusive call of the sea. Those writers have all been inspired by Namahao Ke Ka'i. She is the source of great abundance and contains the wisdom of  the ages. If you stand by the shore and watch a storm swell hit the beach, you know how powerful she is. Namahao Ke Ka'i is a wonderful goddess to know.

Namahao Ke Ka'i will help you
Connect with an incredible power and wisdom. Access the expansive energy of creation. Attract abundance. Feel nutured and loved. Manifest your wildest dreams.

Altjira

Altjira is the sky father of the Aranda tribes in Central Australia. He is the god who created the Earth; he then retired  to the top of the sky and became indifferent to mankind. His name is also connected with the word meaning "to dream". In Aboriginal beliefs, there are two kinds of reality. One is everyday linear, objective activity. The other is the Dreamtime, which is part of the limitless and expansive spiritual realms. Aborigines view Dreamtime as more real then waking reality. The values and laws of Aboriginal society are established by the Dreamtime.

Altjira is a wonderful ally. He may have retreated after he created the world, but he is still willing to help anyone who asks and is willing to work with the Dreamtime. Despite his aloof nature, he loves being helpful. He reminds mortals how fluid physical reality is and invites them to use their creative instincts to tansform their lives.

Altjira was able to bring the universe into existance by dreaming it. He will  ask you what your dreams are and invite you to bring them into fruition in your life. Altjira knows that once you have the desire, creation is just a choice, and he will help you make right choices.

Altjira will help you
Work with your dreams. Play and enjoy life. Maifest your deepest desires. Connect with the spiritual realms.

Invocation
Clearly write down your hopes, dreams, and desires. Read them over just before you go to sleep and then ask Altjira to help you. He will send you a messages and guidance. If you aren't sure what his messages mean, ask him again the following night. He will work closely with you as long as you are willing. You spend a third of you life sleeping, and he is a a powerful teacher of the Dreamtime

Note: For those of you interested in astrology, there is an excellent blog that deals with Altjira that can be found at the following link http://www.loveyourdesign.com/altjira-the-sky-god-lands-on-earth/

Archangel Barbiel

The ruling angel of Scorpio and the ninth day of the moon, its waxing cycle and a prince of Virtues. Later regarded as as a fallen angel, he protects the dead. Visualise him in robes coloured like Autumn leaves and with a golden brown halo that becomes brighter as the moon increases. Invoke him to bring matters to fruition, for abundance, for rituals at twilight during the waxing moon and for working with our shadow side.

Carousel Fairy

About the Carousel Fairy

It's happening, again! Many of us have faced difficulty and troubled times in our lives. Sometimes the impact of a negative experience is so profound that it leaves us with physical, mental and yes, spiritual residue for months, even years after the actual event. While we're still vibrating - as the Carousel Fairy puts it - to the energy of a negative experience, we tend to repeatedly attract echoes of that exact experience. So when we need to be alerted to that fact, we may hear strange music, like that of a music box or sideshow, and see an image of an old fashioned carousel, with a beautiful fairy riding alone, on her solitary horse. Then we can be sure that an old pattern has circled round once again.

The Carousel Fairy speaks

"Here I come again! It seems you need another cosmic reminder of something that needs to be cleared! Letting go is this moment's very important lesson for you to learn. But I am suggesting that you move on actively replace this experience with completely different versions of the same theme. You must reconnect with the opportunities that you have - staying attached to old patterns will simply make them come round again! Like this - wheee!"

Divination Message

You may have been enjoying your own life re-runs lately - wallowing through the memories and feeling sad, bittersweet and nostalgic about the Good Old Days, whenever they were exactly. You know what? It's fine to muse on the past - our memories are precious and do need to be tended. But it's another thing altogether to be filled with regret, and wishing you'd done things differently. Life is a constant do-over - we get a fresh chance every second we're alive. So stop beating yourself up. You have an opportunity to heal. to clear, to no longer feel sad about the same thing anymore. You are so not alone - we all have karmic lessons. And you'll be all the richer for learning yours, and realising how much wiser you are.

Listen

Manjushri

You can hear your divine guidance best by quieting yourself and listening. Shut out noisy stimulation like telephones and televisions, and relax in a quiet place. Don't try to make anything happen. Just listen listen to your own thoughts and breath, and the rhythm of your heart. Then mentally ask a question of your guides and angels. Listen to the loving truth that they speak in your heart, body, and mind. Listen to your own inner truths. Trust your intuition and take action accordingly.

Additional meanings for this card.

Have a quiet retreat. Your guides and angels are talking to you - are you listening? Less talking and more listening is called for right now. Admit your true feelings to yourself. Listen to what messages any aches or pains are trying to tell you (the body always talks to those who listen).

Manjushri is a Buddhist deity of wisdom who holds a sword to cut through illusions and bring about clarity and understanding. Call upon Manjushri for help with understanding Divine messages, and to increase your receptivity to Divine intelligence and wisdom.

Crystals

Epona

This card comes as a sign that you'd benefit from working with crystals. Epona, the faery queen, knows the value of connecting with the spirit of nature. You can find or purchase crystals at metaphysical bookstores, spas and gem shows. Hold each crystal to know whether it feels right to you. Carry or wear the crystal throughout the day for healing, protection and increased intuition. You can also add the crystals to the bathtub water, or place them on your nightstand or beneath the bed to connect on an even deeper level with these remarkable gems.

Additional meanings for this card: Crystal Children are involved in the answer to your question. Your life purpose involves working with crystals.  You have a connection to the elemental realm, such as the faeries and crystals. Since Epona is the patroness of horses, this card may signify a message about a horse or horses.

Epona is the faery-queen  goddess who oversees and protects horses. Temples were built in her honour during Roman and Celtic eras where horses were essential to everyday life. Epona is also a protector of the environment and nature spirits. You can call upon Epona for help of any kind involving horses; or to help you communicate with nature, crystals or the environment.

Gaia

Gaia existed before everything, she existed before time. Gaia, the eternal, prehistoric earth mother goddess, is fertility incarnate, moist, mysterious strong. She is life energy itself; everything that lives, breathing or not overflows with her life. She is the earth and all the powers of the earth. Gaia is not always a consoling goddess: standing for life and generation without thought of consequence, she has an energy and a power that must be approached carefully. All bodies eventually return to her, into the black fertile earth, to be devoured and to receive her life to live again. As goddess of the soul, Gaia reminds us that the soul develops in dark places and that ultimately soul must be rooted in body, in earth. She is a reminder that we must ground ourselves in the reality of nature and incorporate all sides of ourselves, be they pleasant or unpleasant, light or dark.

The Spider

“There is nothing more inspiring than seeing a spider working her web, her craft, many times a day, with such perfection and careful patience.”
Sunil Khemaney

Recently I’ve had a several encounters with spiders including a rather disturbing dream where I was chased by a cat sized huntsman. I’m sure the spiders were trying to tell me something, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to pass on what I’ve learnt.

Quite possibly the most hated creature on the planet, the spider ironically may be one of our most powerful allies in life. Having been around for at least 180 million years and with ancestry dating back to 420 million years, Spider has much wisdom to offer us if we would only listen.

Perhaps the reason we fear and hate Spider is because of what she represents. Mystery. Power. Growth. Death. Fate. All aspects of life that can leave us feeling vulnerable and helpless, yet Spider is the weaver of vision. She can teach us that we are the creators of our own lives, solely responsible for the directions that we choose. And if we get it wrong, like Spider with her web, we have the ability to reweave our lives into something that is stronger and more beautiful. As long as the web is strong enough to harness our dreams, we have the power to change to change direction. But without our productive input the web’s integrity is breached, weakened or incomplete, thus causing confusion and stagnation. The Web of Life is riddled with pitfalls, but it also promises greatness to those who are prepared to take risks and to work hard. We must face all our fears and make choices that herald new beginnings.

Along with weaving, Spider is also closely associated with the number eight. Having eight eyes and legs as well as a body that closely resembles the figure, here are some of the meanings behind the number eight. Many of which are associated with Spider, so if eight is showing up in your life often take heed, for Spider may be trying to teach you her wisdom.

Manifesting. Pragmatism. The Ego. Provision. Aggregation. Multiples. Employment. Appearance. Customs. Skills. Exchange. Reality. World Transformation. Achievement. Abundance. Executive. Strength. Self-discipline. Power. Success. Authority. Psychology. Entrepreneur. Intensity. Supervisor. Grandeur. Wealth. Riches. Status. Material. Business. Investment.

Dancer of Life and Ancestor of Exile.

Dancer of Life
"I am the Dancer of Life. I celebrate all that is, all that has been, all that will be. I dance throughout all the human and spiritual realms, following the bright thread of life that connects everything that has being. I teach love, I teach strength and I impart a belief in the sacredness of all living things. I bring with me the power that breaks down all barriers, that survives in the face of all odds, that shines forth in even the darkest moments."

The Dancer of Life reinvigorates our sense of the life forces that surround us, both human and spiritual, and encourages us to learn from other beings. This Dancer celebrates life and gives us the strength to seize the opportunities that each day offers, and to rejoice in the spirit of adventure.

Interpretations
Energy. Fertility. Hope. Celebration. Joy in all things. Living in the now. Entering into awareness. Endurance. Respect for others. Endless possibilities

Ancestor of Exile
"I am the Ancestor of Exile. I have borne witness to many kinds of separation, and have watched the suffering of those who are driven away from their home or country. Yet there is a deeper exile still - an exile from the self - and I stand ready to help lost people find their way back to their place of belonging. Draw strength from me when you need reconnection or support in times of loneliness."
The Ancestor of Exile comes to help us when we feel detached from ourselves, or from any aspect of our lives  -  enabling us to reconnect with the course of our life's journey. The sharp spike of emotional solitude is painful and damaging, especially when the wound is left unattended. The Ancestor of Exile will restore our  sense of wholeness.

Interpretations
Reconnection. Return. Restoration to family or nation. Strength in time of loss. A new direction home

The deck used for the reading was The Shaman's Oracle. Usually only one card will be picked for a reading, however these two jumped as I was shuffling so I thought these two spirit beings had an important message to be passed on.

Welcome Everyone

I have created this blog so that I can share with you daily spiritual guidance while Belinda is taking a break. The methods that I intend to use include card reading, angel messages and maybe even scrying if I have I have the time. Although I own a couple of Tarot decks I am mostly going to use my other decks which include the Faerie Oracle set, the Shaman's Oracle, Madame Endora's Fortune Cards, Grace Cards plus several others which I will introduce in time. If I get enough feedback, I may even make this blog a permanent fixture. I hope you enjoy it.

Many Blessings

Rebecca
